ADMMicro's executive management team has worked together in the fields of energy management, building management, electrical power monitoring, and retail operations for more than 25 years. This shared experience is unmatched in the industry, and ensures a level of stability and knowledge found nowhere else in the energy management business. The ADMMicro leadership team has worked for organizations ranging from large corporations to relatively small companies looking to cut energy costs and extend the life of their assets.

Donald W. Howell, President & CEO
Don Howell brings to ADMMicro more than 30 years of real-world experience in the electric utility industry. He held both technical and management positions at American Electric Power. His expertise includes design, installation/maintenance of substations metering/monitoring and control systems (SCADA), industrial/large power revenue customer metering, and energy information and analysis. In his leadership role at ADMMicro he led the development of innovative control, metering, and measurement technologies. Don is a registered professional engineer in Virginia and a graduate of Virginia Tech, with a BS in Electrical Engineering.

 

Mark W. Vinson, Vice President, Engineering
Mark Vinson has more than 25 years of experience in the fields of measurements engineering, embedded systems development, and software systems design. His experience ranges from hands-on electrical engineering for the electric utility industry to the development of complex Internet-based software in start up environments. As product development manager at two different firms, he led engineering teams in designing microprocessor-based control systems and complex data communications software systems. Mark is a registered professional engineer in Virginia and a graduate of Virginia Tech, with a BS in Electrical Engineering.

 

Joseph K. Tatum, Executive Vice President & Managing Director
Joe Tatum brings to ADMMicro nearly 30 years of financial, credit analysis, and commercial lending experience from the banking industry. Since January 1, 1999, Joe has formed or assisted in forming, eight start-up companies. He currently serves on the board of managers of seven corporations.

 

John B. Richmond, Vice President, Sales and Marketing
John Richmond has served in sales management positions with Honeywell International, American Electric Power, and Central & Southwest. His sales and marketing experience covers a broad range of product lines; from Energy Management Systems and Energy Information Services, to performance contracting, demand-side management programs and energy retrofit projects. John's experience includes a multitude of metering, monitoring automation and control projects in both the public and private sector. He holds a BS in Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M University.

 

John P. Marlowe, Vice President, Operations
John Marlowe has served as vice president of operations at ADMMicro since April of 2003. John is responsible for material planning, hardware installation, commissioning, and post-sales support of ADMMicro systems. Prior to joining ADMMicro, John was the vice president of professional services at CIMLINC, a leader in the development of manufacturing execution systems. John is a retired Marine Corps officer and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from National University in San Diego.

 

C. Cecil Kelley, Chief Financial Officer
Over the past 30 years Cecil Kelley has served in the role as Corporate Officer for five privately held companies. Under his financial guidance, these five companies with revenues of $20 to $40 million, grew and were eventually sold.  In addition to 8 years in public accounting, he has leadership experience in manufacturing, trucking, telecommunications, and restaurant chains. Mr. Kelley has lived in the Roanoke Valley since 1970.  He holds a BA in business/accounting from Carson-Newman College, a Masters of Divinity from Southwestern Seminary, and is a Certified Public Accountant.

 

Vic Stewart, Vice President, Client Relations
Vic Stewart’s more than 30 years of successful retail operations experience includes individual and multi-store management, procurement, facility and utility management for a Fortune 500 company—a background that gives him a unique perspective on the challenges faced by facility managers every day. As a member of the leadership team of ADMMicro, Vic works with clients to optimize their energy savings to help them grow their businesses more efficiently. In 2007, he was recognized as the top corporate fleet management executive in North America by Fleet Financial. Vic studied for his Bachelor of Arts degree in Urban Affairs at Virginia Tech. He currently serves as Commissioner for the Roanoke Regional Airport Commission.

 

Timothy Davidick, Managing Director of Curtailment & Demand Response
Timothy J. Davidick leads ADMMicro’s newest initiative in energy management services: working with commercial properties to upgrade their metering systems and to provide support for their sustainable energy programs. A former project manager for Booz Allen Hamilton, a leading global consulting firm, Tim also has served as an energy manager for Pace Global Energy Services where he developed strategic energy management plans for private and public sector clients. He is a certified Energy Manager (CEM), Certified Demand Side Manager (CDSM), a Certified Sustainable Development Professional (CSDP), and is a member of the Association of Energy Engineers. Tim is an economics graduate of Pennsylvania State University.
