Peter L. Corsell, Chairman & CEO In 2003, Mr. Corsell founded GridPoint to create a technology that would fuel the adoption of energy efficiency and renewable energy sources. Today, the company is working with electric utilities, commercial enterprises and residential customers nationwide to create a clean and efficient 21st century power system. GridPoint provides information technology throughout the electric power ecosystem, enabling producers and consumers to adopt a broad range of smart energy solutions. To date, GridPoint has raised over $220 million in equity capital, including a large investment by the Goldman Sachs Group. The World Economic Forum selected the company as a Technology Pioneer in 2008, and it has been featured in several books including “Hot, Flat and Crowded” by Thomas L. Friedman. Mr. Corsell’s commitment to the environment and society is also evident in his background and work outside of GridPoint. He was Chairman of the World Economic Forum’s Global Agenda Council on Sustainable Energy (2008-2009) and is a member of the Clinton Global Initiative and the Electrification Coalition. Mr. Corsell also serves on Newsweek’s Global Environment and Leadership Advisory Committee and the Board of Directors of Entech Solar, a developer of concentrating solar energy systems. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Wolfsonian Museum in Miami Beach. Previously, Mr. Corsell served with the U.S. State Department in Cuba and as a political analyst with the Central Intelligence Agency. He holds a B.S. from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University. Michael R. Lach, President & COO Previously, Mr. Lach served as President and Chief Operating Officer for NeuStar, a provider of clearinghouse and directory services to the global communications and Internet industry. While at NeuStar, he reorganized the company, rebuilt the management team, and dramatically increased average overall revenue growth to 40 percent over five years before taking the company public in what was named 2005 Technology IPO of the Year. Prior to NeuStar, Mr. Lach served as President, Network & Systems Services, for Winstar Communications, handling the engineering, construction, operations, and information systems of Winstar’s broadband network for over 30,000 customers. Previously, he was responsible for Covad Communications’ merger and acquisition strategy and integration activities in his role as Executive VP, Corporate Development & Business Integration. Mr. Lach has served on the Board of Directors for Broadmargin, Control Point Solutions, and Teneros, Inc. Earlier in his career, Mr. Lach held various management positions at Ameritech, where as VP of Customer Provisioning & Maintenance he oversaw 12,500 employees. He holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University. Joseph R. Chinnici, Executive Vice President & CFO Most recently, Mr. Chinnici served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Comverse Technology (NASDAQ; CMVT), the leading global provider of billing and messaging software solutions to the communications industry. Previous to that, he served as CFO for 12 years at telecommunications technology supplier Ciena Corporation (NASDAQ; CIEN). Prior to Ciena, he held a variety of financial positions at Sara Lee Corporation and Playtex Corporation. Mr. Chinnici’s service on both public and private company boards has included OTG Software, Brix Networks, Guilford Pharmaceuticals, Sourcefire, Inc., and Optium Corporation. He holds a B.S.A. from Villanova University and an M.B.A. from Southern Illinois University and has studied corporate governance at the Harvard Graduate School of Business. John Clark, Executive Vice President Mr. Clark is an experienced entrepreneur and executive, having held senior roles in operations and deployment, business development, product management, sales and marketing. At V2Green, he was responsible for the company’s strategic vision and operational development, and was actively engaged in closing new business and building critical industry and government alliances. Prior to V2Green, he was based in London as the Senior Vice President/Managing Director, Europe for TeleCommunication Systems (Nasdaq: TSYS), a provider of infrastructure and services to the wireless telecommunications industry. Under his leadership the company entered the European and Asia-Pacific markets, landed the largest software sale in the company’s history, successfully deployed systems globally and built a solid European pipeline for products and services. Previous roles include Vice President, Operations & Deployment for Xypoint and Founder and President of Toll Free Cellular. Mr. Clark holds a degree in computer science and business administration magna cum laude from Western Washington University. Steven J. Cory, Executive Vice President Most recently, Mr. Cory served as the Senior Vice President of Operations at NeuStar, a provider of clearinghouse and directory services to the global communications and Internet industry. His responsibilities included architecture, engineering, software development, operations, information technology and customer care. Prior to NeuStar, Mr. Cory was a senior executive at Qwest Communications. He also served in senior roles at Oncor Communications and Telesphere Communications. He began his career as a computer scientist with the Naval Surface Weapons Center. Mr. Cory holds a B.S. in computer science from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Denis A. Curran, Executive Vice President Previously, Mr. Curran was an associate at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, where he represented a wide range of business organizations on corporate securities, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions and general business and contract matters. Mr. Curran holds an A.B. from Princeton University and a J.D., with highest honors, from The George Washington University Law School. He is a member of the California, District of Columbia and Virginia bars. Michael T. Donohue, Executive Vice President Previously Mr. Donohue served as Managing Partner in Accenture’s North American Utilities Practice, where he developed smart technology strategy and smart grid business cases for North American and multinational utilities and power companies including Duke Energy, E.ON, National Grid, Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E) and Xcel Energy. He also assisted in creating the World Economic Forum’s smart grid initiatives and has presented at its meetings in Zurich and Jordan. Prior to Accenture, Mr. Donohue served in the senior category manager position for a consumer products manufacturer focusing on new product development and marketing effectiveness. He was named Marketing All-Star by AdWeek and received the Edison Award. Mr. Donohue holds a B.S. in mechanical engineering and an M.B.A. from Purdue University. Cameron Ferroni, Executive Vice President Recently, Mr. Ferroni served as Chief Technology Officer for Marchex Inc., a public technology and search services company. Most recently, he was President and Chief Technology Officer of US Emergency Operations Center, a startup focused on applications for the emergency response sector. At Microsoft, Mr. Ferroni served as the founding Xbox Product Unit Manager in 1999 and, as General Manager of Xbox Live through 2005 he ran the 250-person Xbox Platform Software and Services group responsible for the core software aspects of Xbox 360 and Xbox Live. He began his work at the company in Windows NT and Internet Information Server. Mr. Ferroni holds a BA.Sc. in computer engineering from the University of Waterloo. Kenneth R. Floyd, Executive Vice President Most recently, Mr. Floyd served as Vice President for Customer Solutions at Xcel Energy. He led all marketing, customer care and meter-to-cash operations, which included market strategy, product development, energy efficiency, contact centers, and the functions of meter reading, customer billing, credit and collections, and payment processing. He also led the transformation of the utility’s customer compact and SmartGridCity™ customer strategy. Previously, Mr. Floyd was Director of Customer Service for the Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD), overseeing all customer care, marketing, rates and pricing, and energy efficiency/demand side management. During his tenure J.D. Power & Associates ranked the utility number one in California and fifth in the nation for both business and residential customer satisfaction. Mr. Floyd began his career with Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E), holding a variety of positions in field operations before leading a turnaround effort for the utility’s call centers. He is an active member of the United States Energy Association executive exchange program, working with electric utilities in India, Bangladesh and South East Asia. He is a member of the boards of directors of the Boys & Girls Club of Metro Denver and the Denver Rotary. Mr. Floyd holds a B.S. in management with honors from Golden Gate University in San Francisco and an M.B.A. from Saint Mary’s College in Moraga, Calif. John B. Spirtos, Executive Vice President Previously, Mr. Spirtos was Senior Vice President of NeuStar, Inc. (NYSE; NSR), a provider of clearinghouse and directory services to the communications and Internet industry, and President of Corvis Corporation and its wholly owned subsidiary, Broadwing Communications, LLC (NASDQ; BWNG), an integrated communications equipment and services provider. He holds a B.S. from the University of California, a J.D. from Southwestern University, and LL.M. and M.B.A. degrees from Georgetown University. |
